Meet the Bloggers!
Marilee Movius: Marilee grew up playing dress up in her mother’s closet and subscribing to high fashion magazines as a pre-teen. She has always expressed her individuality through fashion and her friends seek style inspiration through her wardrobe. Marilee has gained much of her inspiration through nature. In her free time, she has hiked through various mountain ranges and enjoys various outdoor activities. Through her love of nature, she is active in preserving it through fashion, textiles and design. Marilee has received her BA in Journalism and Fashion from California State University, Long Beach. As a freelance stylist and designer, she strives to use local boutiques, vintage and all things organic, reclaimed and handmade.
Kaitlin Childs: Since the tender age of eight, Kaitlin spent more time drawing houses than she did paying attention in class. After a summer intensive program at Parsons School of Design, which fueled her passion further, she moved back to Orange County earning her BA in Interior Design and went after her dream job. After working her way up the ranks, she is now the right hand woman to an award-winning designer specializing in nightclubs, high-end restaurants, bars and boutique hotels. She looks forward to spreading her obsession with design every Thursday on the GRN blog.
Kenesha Hylton: Although she has worked in the marketing and event planning industry for over 10 years, Kenesha’s true passion is food. Whether she’s creating it in her own kitchen or checking out the latest dining hot spot, Kenesha loves the culinary process. Check out Kenesha’s blog every Wednesday where she’ll be sharing with you her adventures at local eateries, delicious and simple recipes, reviews, and more.
