At GRN Events we take our commitment to sustainability very seriously and will ensure that the services we offer are always the best choice for you and the planet. We are a Co-op America Green Business Member and donate a portion of our profits to various environmental and social causes.

Waste: With strategically placed waste stations, specifically for recycling and composting, you can rest assured the vast majority of your trash will never end up in the landfill.

Food: GRN Events works with southern California farms to source many of your meal’s ingredients, ensuring that they are not only fresh and delicious, but organically grown and support the local economy as well.

Drinks: From sustainably produced wines to organically grown liquors, free trade coffees, and all natural beverages, GRN Events has resources for a myriad of eco conscious drink options. Oh, and don’t even think about having bottled water!

Leftovers: If your guests aren’t as hungry as you anticipated, we can arrange for food packages to be sent to local shelters and food banks. As for décor, nothing cheers up nursing homes like a beautiful centerpiece.

Décor: In our eyes, less is definitely more when it comes to décor. Working with the natural elements of the landscape is a beautiful and sustainable option for your celebration, incorporating living plants and locally grown flowers as much as possible.

Invites/Marketing Materials: Go virtual with electronic invitations and marketing materials. It’s super easy and a great way to stay organized and communicate with your guests through the planning process. If your event absolutely requires printed invites and marketing collateral we have resources for recycled paper or tree-free alternatives printed with veggie based inks.

Gifts/Promotional Items: Give your guests a gift that keeps on giving with living potted plants or seeded promotional items. Reusable bags or eco friendly mugs are other great alternatives that your guests can definitely put to good use once the party is over.

Transportation: Hybrids, bio-diesel, veggie fuels…there are many options today to power up your vehicles. Whether you are looking for a way to transport guests or for your party goods, GRN Events can help you find a green alternative that’s better for the planet.
