The GRN Events team is a group of free-thinking individuals with a passion for planning, design, and marketing. Our varied backgrounds and unique skill sets allow for limitless possibilities, unparalleled service, and results that truly reflect our client’s needs.
Chrissy Gray: Founder and Creative Director
Seeing a need for environmentally sustainable event planning in the southern California region, owner Chrissy Gray coupled her love of creating memorable parties with her passion for environmental conservation, forming GRN Events in the spring of 2007. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, with a minor in Environmental Studies from California State University Fullerton, and is certified in Meeting and Event Management, as well as Green Event Planning.
Chrissy is a So Cal native and currently resides in Costa Mesa. When she’s not planning the next big event Chrissy can usually be found riding her beach cruiser along the Orange County shores, exploring new hiking trails, or checking out the local music scene. Her attention to detail and ability to translate her client’s creative vision has made her, along with GRN Events, a name to remember in the event planning industry.

Kenesha Hylton: Public Relations Specialist
Kenesha Hylton assists with managing the marketing and public relations arm of GRN Events. She helps business and executive clients develop relationships with their target audience by creating exquisite experiences with one-of-a-kind event and marketing campaigns. Prior to becoming part of the GRN Events team, Kenesha spent the past 10 years working in various marketing and event planning positions in the fields of education, legal, media, software, engineering and the telecom industry. She is the current founder of Coral Avenue Online Marketing and Events, which is a company that specializes in managing company social media accounts and works to make virtual relationships into real person-to-person contacts.
Kenesha resides in San Diego and Orange County where she continues to perfect the art of online marketing and event marketing by hosting, speaking and training at workshops.

Soledad Ramirez: Business Development Guru
Soledad works as the Business Development Manager for GRN Events, building relationships with community businesses, vendors, and potential clients who care about sustainability. Soledad combined her passion for creativity and sustainability with over 18 years experience in sales and marketing to grow GRN events in the San Diego area.
Soledad is a So Cal native, residing now in San Diego. She graduated from UC San Diego with a Bachelor's degree in Communications and a minor in Photography and Biology. She is currently seeking her LEED accreditation as Green Associate and is a member of the USGBC, San Diego chapter. She loves living in San Diego with her family where she enjoys playing tennis and being the mother to a 3 year old daughter.

Dave Jacobs: Graphic and Web Design Extraordinaire
Dave is the go to guy for everything visual at GRN Events. From graphic and web design to filming, video editing and motion graphics, he has us covered. Dave helps us to tailer marketing and branding campaigns unique to our clients needs. Dave is a self taught multimedia guru with a passion for his craft. He is very in touch with the so-called "X games generation" due to his 10 years as a professional BMX bike rider, and has become well known for his multimedia expertise as well.
